In an effort to escape the craziness and pressures of Hollywood, Myra Marlowe rents a house in the tiny town of Beaver Haven, Vermont. She is ready to settle down, grow tomatoes, write her biography and live among normal people. She is not prepared to deal with the nosy and ever present neighbors. To scare them away, she invents a crazy, homicidal sister, really Myra in a frightening wig… then the fun really begins.
