Suffering an injury at the doorstep of the Stanley household in Mesalia, Ohio; the eloquent yet cantankerous radio celebrity, Sheridan Whiteside, is confined to the Stanley's abode for the better part of December. Little do the Stanley's know that their household will be turned upside down and filled with many color characters in this riotous 1930's comedy.
